It’s Christmas, let us rejoice in the birth of our Savior. What better time to decide to Forgive and Let Go?
I talk about this a LOT. It’s some times easier said than done. But, holding on to anger and resentment is so exhausting! I want you to free yourself of this burden.
This does not mean you give up or give in. It means you let go of the need to control someone else, to “fix” situations that you can’t possibly fix. It means you forgive the someone who brought bitterness into your life.
It means you turn the burden over to God; you allow Him to right the wrong, it’s not your job.
Set healthy boundaries and realize that you can’t be in contact with a dangerous or toxic individual, but you don’t ever have to stop loving or praying for that person.
The beautiful thing is, forgiveness and the act of letting go isn’t about that other person at all. It’s about YOU. It’s about accepting that something bad happened, learning from the experience, and moving on to a more loving, brighter future.
Use the negative things that have happened to you to make you stronger. Remember the old saying, “No pain, no gain.” We learn through adversity. Realize that the pain that people or circumstances have caused you do NOT define you. You get to decide who and what you are.
Life is too short to live with useless burdens; use your energies to live the life you have dreamed and imagined.
“We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another.
But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared,
he saved us, not because of righteous things
we had done, but because of his mercy.”
12 Stockings of Christmas Sweepstakes
There is only two more days to enter my 12 Stockings of Christmas Sweepstakes! You don’t want to miss your opportunity to win one of my 12 completely and totally OVERstuffed stockings chock-full of amazing gifts.
Thank You Point Hope Corporate Donors!
I work with many amazing sponsors of the Delilah show. I don’t just sell any product, I need to feel good about whatever it is that I’m promoting, and I am particularly blessed to be able to call most of my sponsors friends. That’s what my program is all about; building relationships.
I’d like to give a shout-out to three such sponsors who have gone above and beyond, by supporting the NGO I founded, Point Hope, a voice for forgotten children:
The Butterfly Circus | Life is full of second chances and the ability to be happy not because of how others define you, but how you define yourself.
The Butterfly Circus is donating a portion of all sales to Point Hope. Such a blessing to those we care for; I’m eternally grateful.
This delightful short film is about The Showman, Mr. Mendez, who travels with his Butterfly Circus across a sad and dreary American landscape during the great depression. Along the way he spreads hope and opportunity for a second chance at happiness.
It is a wonderful story to share with your family, not just during the holiday season but the whole year through. Grab some popcorn, your top hat (I’m sure you keep one handy) and find your seat for a big top adventure.

Moore’s | Buffalo Ranch Crack Bread
Put a few loaves of these on your Christmas table and folks will go crackers over them!
Buffalo Ranch Crack Bread
• 1 loaf round Artisan bread
• 1 block (8-12) ounces mozzarella cheese thinly sliced
• 1 stick butter
• 4 Tablespoons Moore’s Creamy Ranch Buffalo wing sauce
• 1 bunch scallions ends removed and chopped
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Cut the loaf length-wise and then width wise. Do not cut all the way to the bottom. Stuff the bread with the cheese.
3. In a medium bowl melt butter in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Add Moore’s Creamy Ranch Buffalo Wing sauce and scallions. Stir to combine.
4. Brush Buffalo mixture all over bread. Make sure it gets in all the “cracks” real good.
5. Tent the bread with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
6. Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes.
7. Serve hot – and allow diners to “pull apart’ pieces.
For How To steps, visit Moores.
“Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive your transgressions.”
This holy season, forgive those who have wronged you. Toss the baggage. Let go of the need to have things perfect and to fix others messes. Let go of frustrations, expectations and hurt. Instead, live life fully and enjoy the beauty and the magic of the holiday season!
I wish you the merriest of Christmas! I hope you all were able to stay off the NAUGHTY list! Much love,
