We are in the midst of Holy Week and all around us are the signs of rebirth and renewal. From the baby goats on the farm, to the daffodils straining upward through the cold hard earth, to the hearts I meet daily that have turned toward love, I am reminded that our Lord and Saviour is with us. He died so that we may have eternal life.
My hope is that you are alert and aware to the miracles that surround you. Have you noticed the buds forming on the trees that weeks earlier looked like ghostly winter sentinels? Are you [More]

Happy Happy Spring!
Or, as much of North America is experiencing, happy happy Snow?! What a weird and wild turning of the seasons. Folks on the “right” side of the country are experiencing their FOURTH Nor’easter! These bring cold temps, colder wind, and snow, sleet, and rain. What can I say except, I’m so sorry?!

Recently I was gifted the most remarkable thing; a portrait of my son, Zachariah.
There is a man, by the name of Michael G. Reagan, an internationally recognized artist who has an amazing heart and an amazing talent. I heard of Michael’s work some years ago; he’s drawn over 4500 portraits of fallen soldiers and given them to surviving family members free of charge.
He has also provided portraits of children lost to senseless violence in schools, including all victims of Columbine, Sandy Hook, and the many other horrific shootings. He is working currently on the most recent victims in Florida.
